    violating probation
I have recently had my first and last drug screening for a 6 month period of probation. I had failed this drug screening and supposed to go to court. So, I was wondering when I do go to court will I be eligible for jail time even though this is the first time I have ever violated; even though I have paid off all my court costs, masep and vip classes and have a job?

    Hello blond:

You're lucky you're on the street. MOST probation violators wait in jail for their hearing.

You can be sentenced up to the maximum of your underlying sentence. If you were sentenced to 6 months, but it was suspended, you can be made to serve ALL 6 months - even if you only had ONE day left on probation.

Now, I don't know it that's going to happen, but it could.
