I just wanted to know if marriages are made in heaven i.e. who will marry whom has been decided by ALLAH and we have no control over it?

that's a very nice question. But I would like to ask you, what do you mean by heaven? Life, death, marriage an divorce are kept in luh mahfuz, the eternal book of secrets in the past and future.oh, yes, we have none to control these. But, we do not know even a pinch of a secret in the luh mahfuz. And that is why allah had said in the Al-qur'an, I will not change the future of an ummah unless they themselves change it. So, to say that we do not have a control on it is a weak fact, because who knows that maybe allah had fate us to control our own marriage? (^_^).

My friend this is not very accurate...

Fate is set based on many things, most of it is your actions, God knows what you will do so he preset things in your way depending on your actions and selections. So if you were pure and asking God for a good marriage he would have preserved you the one best for you, all you have to do is seek for your couple and God will put that in your way inshalla.

So the time, the person and the place anyone gets married is dependent on his fate as explained which is dependent on his actions

Nothing happens at heavens before we reach heavens, so normal marriage happens in our universe, couples stay married in heavens if they were married in this life, hope this answers your question
