I was deported in August 2006, I lived in Colombia for a year and 7 months until we got a waivor letting my mother and I back in the U.S because she was mariied to a U.S citizen. I have been here since April 2008 and I have a Visa K4 and I'm waiting for my residency. Im planning to take a cruise to the bahamas, can I travel outsid the U.s and be able to get back in with my K4?

It's recommended NOT to travel while your case is pending, however, if the trip is an emergency, you should file advance parole and wait for approval before you leave US, otherwise immigration officers at the port/border won't let you back in.
