What is the problem here? > (bigger than) and < (smaller than) are used similar to =
15 -1/2x > 6
15 -1/2x > 6-15
15 -1/2x > -9
15- 1/2x > 9
15-15- x > 18
So x is bigger than 18
If you meant with >6 : bigger or equal to 6 :
15 -1/2x > 6
15 -1/2x > 6-15
15 -1/2x > -9
15- 1/2x > 9
15-15- x > 18
So x is equal or bigger than 18
Very basic algebra !
