    Cost of Installing Drywall
Purchased a home with particially finshed up stairs.

9ft celings about 120 sheets to do walls and ceilings.

Quoted $17.00 labor per sheet to install.

This does not include any materials.

Neighbor paid 11.00 per sheet 4 years ago, but that installer has now retired.

    Is $17 per sheet reasonable?
    Thanks

Is taping and both coats of mud plus finish sanding included? Is the mud and tape product included, usually is. If so, take the deal.

Price includes mud and finish sanding.

Meeting contractor this weekend to get the exact cost to include the cost of the materials added to the labor cost.

Most of us recommend getting 3 estimates. It's safe to take the lowest bid but be cautious if the low bid is really a lot lower than the other 2.

are the sheets 4x12 or are they 4x 8 if they are 4x12 the price is $.3541666666 per footi charge $.47 per foot just to tape and texture and for hanging I would charge $ .24 per foot . Remember these are 9 foot ceilings you have to hang the extra piece on the top or bottem unless you can get 54 inch rock
