My 18 year old will only be nice for a few days
After that he is irritable, lazy, unreliable, selfish and unkind.
He tells the most ridicules lies but to him they are believable
He says I am a bad mom when I don't listen to his lies
But I feel that I am enabling his lies if I do
He is rude to everyone in the house
He is trying to finish his gr 12 (so he says) but he does no homework or studding
And when asked why he says its his business not ours
I think he needs some kind of help
He has been to a therapist before but they found nothing wrong with him just that he over dramatises everything
I love him and I am very scared for his future
I hope he lets me take him to the doctor to find out if something is wrong mentally

Don't take him to the doctor,
I'm afraid this is just a normal 18 year old of this eara, don't let him control you, put your foot down, and when he makes up stupid lies... say something stupid back... being an 18 year old I can understand why your son is being like this... just... be stricked with him, and I don't mean hitting either, make sure he does his work, when he awnsers you back... don't take it, have a go at him, don't let him get to you, you're the mother, take some control of your son
