Goodman furnace intermittent starting
I have a Goodman furnace that is 6 years old and I have had problems with it for the last 3 or 4 years. Kind of sad for this being a replacement for a 35 year old furnace that still was working fine and in the 35 years had only been serviced 2 times. I bought the Goodman for the fear of the old one quitting anytime due to age and didn't want to be without.
The problem with this Goodman is that, it does not come on every once in a while, when the thermostat goes below the 72' setting. I have had qualified service men come out and flip a few switches and replace a part and flip on the switches and its fine. Then the same thing will happen again with the furnace not coming on and the service man will come out, and of coarse, flip switches, looks it over, flip switches, and it works, without replacing parts, they charge me for coming out and say they can't find anything wrong.
After watching them, I have recently been doing the same thing, flipping switches, waiting 5 minuets, flipping the switches and the furnace comes on, so my question is ---- what needs to be done to get this to come on without me having to call a service man every week to get this fixed. I have so far this week had to go through this restarting process 3 times and know that this is not what I paid for.
Any suggestions??
