    Free grants
I would like to know how to go about getting a free grant from the federal governmant. I have recently been classified as disabled and would like to start up a career in real estate investing since this would not take a lot of physical labor in order to be a success.
I have 3 years of college and have held several different independent coctractor positions in my life. I am 48 yrs old and live in Pa. I have a definite cash flow problem right now and I am desperate for some free advice on how to get started in this with absolutely no money up front.

Googling is typically great for research, but for the area of grants, I think Matthew Lesko's books have a corner on the market for a one stop source for grants.

Check your local library for these titles:

I'm pretty sure he updates these every year, so you can also find older used editions online for pretty cheap.

I have yet to find a website that does as well as his books to put so much in one place.

Start filling in applications through the internet. There's a lot of grants for starting a business.
