"Free No.5" sewing machine in solid oak cabinet
I have a "Free No.5" sewing machine purchased between 1910 and 1930. The machine is fully functional. It is enclosed in a flawless oak cabinet with hand carved wooden appliques on the front doors. I have not been able to find another one like it on the internet. Any information as to the history of this machine and/or manufacturer would be greatly appreceated as I can find little info. On sewing machines made by Free. The serial/model number is C62276. Photos attached. Respond to [email protected]. Thank You!

I also own the free no. 5! And I'm doing research to find out how much it's worth but it's hard.

I have the exact sewing machine in the same cabinet. I am just going to keep it in my dining room since it matches a couple of my other antiques. I would like to know what it is worth though.

I have a Free #5 with the #5 cabinet. Serial Number is C189563. I am trying to find out the date it was made. Does anyone know a source for figuring this out?
