Gregory Peck starred in the movie version. To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

I would recommend reading it. It is very good and a movie is a poor substitution if this is for a literature course.

I don't mean to sound rude but if you truly want to help your son make him read the book!

Thank you emland, I know I read it when I went to school but I don't remember what it was about. The school started reading it today. I wanted a heads up because I am a full time carer for my mum and I don't have much free time. My son struggles with school and I blame myself for not helping him more.
