Just woundering how many guys/man out there have sex less then once a week and why? This is for those who have girlfriends or wife's?

I'm not among that group ( we do it nearly every day after 17 years of marriage, above average I believe for my group)

A common reason is boredom... ( missionary and no oral/anal or different things gets dull real fast)

A wife that stops caring about how she looks or her hygene has gone the wayside,

A wife that complains , accuses him of stuff and constantly talks about innappropriate topics during sex...

THe love has gone out of the relationship...

THen there are guy related stuff of work related stress, medical problems, medications... etc that can cause or aggrivate ED.

ANd lastly is a few cases he's fooling around so much he can't take care of the wife too.

Lot of reasons behind this, some I didn't even think to mention as well... any one or combination can be the answer.

I don't necessarily agree that it is an indicting factor to a failing relationship although it can be.

With two children, two very stressful jobs and limited time and energy there are times in my relationship that sex just doesn't fit in. I know that we are both faithful and love each other and that makes the times that we do have sex interesting and special.

It depends on many other factors of the relationship whether it is healthy and it works for both partners.

Your question is so generalized... that there isn't one answer, as smoothy pointed out.

I would just add that the fewer number of sexual contacts, the quicker the relationship is deteriorating to being just roommates. Men don't like being just roommates because the main reason they got married was to have a ready sex partner. :) So, no sex at home, sex somewhere else, is generally the case.

When my wife was ill, we went almost 2 years at one point because of health issues. There is no normal or average everyone is different

Ya, know on a survey that I recently read, guys would rather have great sex every once in a while, rather that boring regular sex everyday.

Curious whether this is the case, if this is why men get married - any thoughts?
