I came across the article 10 signs he's into you and I don't quite get this:

At #9, it says "He's totally nervous around you," whereas #1, 2, 3, and 4 are, to some extend, about proximity.

So my question is:

Guys, if it makes you nervous to be around the girl you like, how come do you do everything possible to be around her?

Speaking about 'fight' or 'flight' response, how come you choose to 'fight'? :)
