    Quitclaim deed or warranty deed
My father purchased a vacant land about three years ago and he had me as the secondary co-buyer. He has paid off the loan.

My father is in the process of applying for SSI or disability since he no longer work because of his physical health problem. He likes to take his name off the deed form and leave only my name.

If he sign the quitclaim deed form or warranty deed form without letting the Social Security Administrator office know, will his disability get disqualify?

    Any ideas?

There is no need for a warranty deed between father and son. What is the value of the land,

    What you are asking, really
is it fraud to hide the property you have by signing it over to someone else and not sellng it.?

to FR_CHUCK: not sure what the value of the land is, and yes, I am referring to the question you asked?

so what should we do or what suggestion would you give?
