Is it true that when a guy is very interested in one particular girl, he tends to focus on her only and is less interested in other girls ?

It is true of most men, but not all. The good men yes.

It's called being faithful. When you love someone they are the one you are interested in. Works the same for faithful women.

That's what I've noticed. I notice it ion myself too. If I have a crush on someone that person will be all I can focus on.

Yes, but what if it's only pure attraction and you barely know the person?

It's still interest, when you are interested in something it holds your attention, doesn't leave much room for attention elsewhere.

Isn't that what girls do as well?

Its very true, whenever I have my eye on a girl, I never seem to be able to focus on another girl, doesn't matter what she looks like or how she acts, but yea does vary for a lot of men, this is just how I act.
