    Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans
    ;)Hello,
I dropped te remote for my Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan. Do I have to have an electrician come to repair the unit or do I have to purchase another remote. The remote looks as though it is working but not sending messages. To the fan... please help...

Check the dip switches and make sure they match the fan. They probably got jarred out of place.

There is nothing an electrican can do to repair the unit.

    Does the fan have pullchains?

Thank you... Yes, it does have a pull chain and where are the dip switches located?

Dip switches are on the receiver which is in the ceiling canopy. The other set is inside the remote. They have to match and be fully seated.
