    Married on a B1/B2 visa what can we do to change my status
    I came here on a tourist visa B1/B2 that is good till May 24, 2009. While here I ended up getting engaged and then we got married on January 27th. Can I and my husband start the immigration process now while I am here on a visitor visa B1/B2 by filing the I-130 and the I-485 or is there other steps we have to take, please help us!!

    This is considered misuse of visa, I recommend retaining immigration attorney specialized in family based visas.
