    Tank doesn't fill consistently
I have a newer toilet (5 years) and it doesn't refill consistently. I have tried WD 40 on the mechanism and it worked for a while but I am wondering if there is a better fix since it is doing it again. It is a nuisance to have to wiggle the mechanism to get the water to refill. Thanks...

I'm assuming the mechanism is the automatic fill valve.
I don't know what you are spraying but the sites below should cover all fill valves and help you. Get back if you still have problems
