I am no longer getting water out of the shower head. All of the water is coming from the wall (base of the shower arm).
It worked fine before but suddenly stopped recently. The normal taps work fine though, the water just doesn't go through the shower pipe to the top to the head.

What do I do?

I forgot to add that the taps are mixer and it has one of those caps you lift to transfer the water from the big taps tro the shower ( terminology not good sorry)

Are you saying that your TUB SPOUT with diverter is broken? See picture below.

If this is the case, then you will need to remove the old tub spout and install a new tub spout with diverter.

There are two different kinds of tub spouts with diverter. One unscrews (pic. On left). The other has a allen head set screw that holds the spout in place (pic. On right). This kind has a u-shaped cutout under the spout, close to wall that allows you to insert an ALLEN WRENCh into the screw to loosen the screw.

These are available at all home supply stores.
