Hello all! This is the trivia post! Enjoy:D

No Googling... (unless you really have to!:D)

I would guess Austraila, bordered by New Zealand? :)

On the show they said Canada

I would have to see a map to tell

For your questions, I couldn't think of much. I'm more of a classical and Jazz guy myself

I'd have to check a map too. Canada is probably right. Geography isn't my best subject. New Zealand may be an island. :)

    What is your subject?

    My questions:

    1. Bon Jovi

    2. Calico

    3. The Killing Fields

    4. Nicolo Paganini

    5. Jonathon Demme

    :)

I tend to listen mostly to rock, new age and classical.

Oh, sorry. I wouldn't do well on the Jazz questions myself.

My four favorite classical pieces, name the composer:

    1. "Moonlight Sonata"

    2. "Adagio for Strings"

    3. "Adagio in G minor"

    4. "O Fortuna (from Carmina Burana)"

    :)

No, I mean do you like trivia questions about science or math or health or history
  • Aug 7, 2006, 09:41 PM
    Thomas1970
Science and Health would be my better subjects. Probably not great in Math anymore. History, it really would depend on the question.

I really like any questions, except Sports and Politics. Definitely better at some subjects though.

Well, I have to go to bed, but here's one for the road:

    1. Name the three basic parts of an atom
    2. The first and second elements on the periodic table
    3. A name on the periodic table that you can remember with E=mc^2 (squared)

don't worry, there will be more questions tomorrow!

    1. Neutron, Proton, Electron

    2. Hydrogen and... Not sure offhand. :)

    3. Einsteinium.

To complete Thomas1970's answer to question 2

    Hydrogen and Helium

Number 3, what does that question even mean?

    Albert Einstein's famous physics equation:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E%3Dmc%C2%B2

Einsteinium is the 99th element on the periodic table, named in honor of him. :)

I am familiar with Einstein's famous physics equation.

I just didn't realize that they named a periodic element after him.

Yep, there is. There is even Plutonium (you've already heard of), Neptunium, Americum, Nobelium, and Californium!

    Here's a Math question:

There is a code to your computer and you forgot what the code was. Assuming
there are no capitals or any symbol of any sort, and all you use is lowercase letters and numbers. What is the probability of randomly punching in a five spaced code. (Hint: The code doesn't have to spell something or make sense)

Or here is a science question for you. Approximately how may milles are we from the sun?

Used to know this one... 72 million miles?:D
