My Purex Triton Whisperflow pump for my inground pool does not prime itself. They sell a seal kit. Do you think this would fix the problem?

Disconnect the incoming line to see if you have a free flow of water present. If the flow is good then the seal kit is a good option.
Disconnecting the incoming line on an inground pool will show u nothing. The pump is above water level. What I would look for would be... air leak on suction side of pump, or the gasket seals on the pump strainer lid.
Hope this helps...
Pool guy is correct, I missed the "inground" part. My advice was better suited for an above ground pool.
Thanks ballenger... this is why it is so important for posters to give us as much information as possible about their pool and their problem!!
