Hi I'm from nova scotia Canada,I recently rent a house from my landlord but two weeks ago they come to me to tell me that they sold their house they are living in and gave me a notice to quit cause they need the house I'm renting to live in.I signed a month to month lease but now I have to find another place to live cause they need the house.. they gave us to the end of April to find a place.. can they make me move because they need the house.when I sign the lease they didn't tell us if they sold their house they want this one back I moved in September have to be out by the end of April can someone help me please.. thank you

Even if they didn't want to move in, you only have a month to month lease. They can simply give you a 30 day notice and they don't need a reason.
