Im recovering from a nasty cold and laryngitis but have a very sore tongue.
The back of my tongue feels like its strained or something, pain is right at the back so I can't really see what's going on. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you been to a doctor and had a test for strep throat?

No, I have an appointment in 2 days time. What is strep throat? Definitely have something as Im still coughing up yucky green stuff.
