I rescued from the rescuer a four month old Mini Dachshund and she now has slimey stools after two normal bowlel movements. She normally poos twice in the morning with close to normal stools than she has these stools that are small and covered in slime but just small pieces. What should I do.

Have you changed her diet? If so, this could be the cause of the runny stools. It's always best to make a change in diet slowly.

Did she maybe get a hold of something she shouldn't have? How long have you had her?

It could be nerves, food, a whole bunch of things.

Keep an eye on her, if this continues, if you notice a change in eating habits and drinking, if this is accompanied by vommitting, then you really should get her to a vet.
