Could someone please help me I am trying to get my cd/dvd drive to work. I have been into the properties on the file and is said that a file may be missing. I haven't got a clue what to do so any advise will be very much appreciated thanks :o:o

What file?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup.

Is the drive seen in windows explorer

If so, right click on it and go to properties, what is said there

Have you checked device mgr

What operating system you're running, and its version.

What is the exact text of the error message if possible, this may convey a lot of information
