    Cant get pregnant
Hi my name is linny, I'm 26, in 2003 my boyfriend and I started trying for a baby, it took me 3 yrs to get pregnant, I had a gorgous little boy in 2006 by c-section, we decided shortly after having him to try for another, its been 5 years now and nothing! Ive went to my doctors for scans, smears, swabs, they finally came back and told me that I have a small cyst on my right overy  but they told me its nothing to worry about and that it won't affect me trying to conceive, I've also went for a second opinion, same thing... they also told me that my womb is in an L shaped position which I will find it hard to deliver naturally, doesn't bother me in the slightest though. For the past two weeks I've been getting sick, feeling very dizzy, tender breasts, headaches, peeing non stop! Took 4 pregnancy tests... all negative... ive tried every pregnancy test there is out der... will it be worth it going for another opinion? Any info or advice would help... thank u... new to this so be nice :)

    Hi Linny,

Have you had the various blood work done as well as all of the other checks they already did? Has your boyfriend been tested? With five years of tryng this last round, those would be two things to consider if it hasn't been done already.

It is possible you are pregnant now and the tests just haven't picked it up yet. Might go to your gp, or ring them, and ask if they will do a blood test. Their urine tests are likely no more sensitive that what you have already tried. If they won't do a blood test for you, try another test in a week or so... are you late for your period? Are they usually regular?

Hi I'm new at this to but I went though the same thing as you I tried for a baby for one year after I was off my birthcontrol nothing, one year after that I was pregnant with my first one at 2 months I miscarried 3 weeks later I was pregnant again. I was a high risk pregnancy but everything went great carried her full term, then 18 months later bam pregnant again had my second little girl 1 week early so I was done after that so I got the IUD birthcontrol 3 months after my second daughter I was pregnant again only didn't know it I started having really bad pains in my side, hot flashes, headaches, sick, lots of pain finially tuck a test it said yes called my doctor got in and turned out I was pregnant in my right ovary had to have emergency surgery lost half my lady parts. So I believe things happen for a reason so be patient,it will happen you're just stressing yourself out you're trying to hard relax and go out have a great night with your man stay relaxed and don't worry about it don't think about it it will happen when it's time I know it's hard. But hey you still have your son. Just remember everything happens for a reason. Hope I help a little at least. Good luck I'll pray for you.

I have had bloodtests but all came back normal, I have asked for more but they won't do it for me, my boyfriend has also had tests and he fine, I researched a bit and found out that it could be possible that the cyst could be covering the entrance to the cervix, I`ll make an appointment with my gyn and see what he can do for me.

If the cyst is on your ovary, it won't be near the cervix. Do check with your gyn about what more you can do. Are your cycles regular?

So you haven't missed a period or did you miss in January? If you haven't been late yet, the testing you did would likely have been too early. See what happens when your period is due and try another test if it doesn't show up. Fingers crossed!
