We have an outlet not working, we replaced it and it still does not work
Please define an "Outlet" for me.
In electrician speak the term outlet refers to the hole in the wall.
Do you mean a receptacle that you plug electrical wires into?
If that is what you mean, can you be a bit descriptive. Where is the outlet located? Does it have a GFCI downstream of it that may be controlling it?
Do you have a volt/ohm meter? The cable that services that receptacle do you know where it comes from and can you make sure that all the connections on that receptacle are correct?
Have you checked to see if you have a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker? Well, heck, you never know! ;-)
