    Change ing a deed
:confused:Hi, my husband has passed about 2 years ago, I would like to remove his name from the deed; is this something I can do without the aid of an attorney?

I'm surprised the estate/probate Attorney didn't take care of this.

I don't recommend any type of real property transaction without an Attorney, particularly when an estate is involved. You are going to have to prove that all the estate debts are paid, including taxes, and it's a fairly simple matter because the estate Attorney has all the information.
