I need to replace my galvanized pipes from the dining room up to the bathroom cause my shower or sink do not work how do I do this.:confused:

Water or drain? Im going to state first off, that you should really call in a plumber. If you feel that you can do this yourself, then please give more info, and maybe some pictures, and we will try to help you through this. However, this can get very involved, its not just running some lines. Lots of things that will take place to do this correctly. Please let me know if you are ready for an adventure.

I will assume you want to replace your drain pipes, because pvc can not be used indoors for water supply. The above answer you got was right on, running new drain pipes from downstairs to your upstairs can be quite an undertaking.. you will need to locate the proper size pipe to tie on to in your wall or basement, if your only supplying new pipes to your shower and lav, you will need to run a 2 inch pipe up to bathroom, and branch off from there to the lav ,and vent.. have fun ,and remember waste only flows downhill...
