    Friendship with ex's-woman's perspective
    Hi,
I dated a woman for about a year and a half and we broke up but remind friends. This was back in 2005.
I am in a new relationship now and wondering if that will cause issues and how I can reassure the one I am with that I am only friends with my ex. Its not a problem now but just don't want it to be a problem in the future. For example, I am on Facebook and once in a while, my ex (who is my friend) will say hi, even though she knows I am in a relationship. It does not bother me but I am not sure if it bothers my current girlfriend. She tries to be prideful so I can't tell. Thoughts?

Just stay true to your ex and do not give her a reason not to trust you. Also ask her every once and a while if it seems to bug her if she would like to talk about it. She should respect that your friends with your ex because that shows her that if the two of you did break up then you are a cool ex and not a psycho. Which could make the relationship stronger you know?

The most quick way to start tension and drama with a g/f, is to still be talking to an ex. Some females can deal with it, most won't
