My condo is being sold under bankruptcy(I own it and will get the exemption). The real estate agent came by and said he wanted to put a lockbox on and also take pictures. I don't particularry care to have people walking through my place while I'm at work nor do I want to have pictures of it posted in the real estate web site. Must I allow them to do this or can I refuse? The agent called the next day and said the person handling the case for the court " wants" me to do these things but still didn't say I "MUST" I don't really want the place to be sold as I have nowhere to go with my youngest child and won't be able to afford to rent a place outside the inner city. Thanks for any advise.

At what point is the court taking over the property, in bankruptcy you are giving them ownership if you are not going to confirm that debt and keep the property.

I would discuss with my attorney since if you do not work with the court they may rule that you have not attempted to help in the sale and disallow your bankruptcy.

I woud assume you are living there without paying any house payments to the debtor.

If I was the lender I would use this refusal to really try and mess up your case. So a lot will depend on the lender, and the trustee you are dealing with. Ask your attorney, if you don't have one, call the trustee
