    1. What is it that you really want in every part of your life?

    2. If your life were perfect in every respect, what would it look like?

    3. If you had everything that you could possibly want, what would you have?

    4. If you could design your ideal lifestyle, what would it look like?

    5. If you could design your ideal career, what would it be?

    6. What is your personal definition of success?

    7. What is your personal definition of failure?

    8. What makes you happy and fills you with peace?

    9. What would you no longer be doing if your life were perfect in every respect?

    10. What habits must you surrender in order to achieve greater success?

    Hi, CaptainRich!

So, what is the purpose to posting these questions, please?

I can see that they would be good for someone wanting to do some introspection as well as reflection and perhaps planning for the future based upon the answers that a person might have for the questions.

    Thanks!

That's similar to a pub thing we do sometimes after people have a few. You ask the question: You've won $20 million. You've built your house, bought the cars, took the trips, doled out some money to family members and you still have $10 million left... now what? How do you occupy your time?
It gives you some good insight into people.

    1. bacon. Lots of bacon.
    2. it's pretty much perfect as it is. Granted, getting into med school would be a plus, but... then, sleepless nights, studying 16 hours a day... doesn't sound too perfect, does it?
    3. I already have everything I want.. . perhaps a car garage with the most exquisite cars in the world... and a few motorcycles... maybe a few extra 0's in my bank account... then I'm set for life.
    4. it looks... like the life I currently live... + cars... + bacon. Lots of bacon.
    5. orthopedic surgeon.
    6. finally getting into med school.
    7. not getting into med school... but I'd consider that just a setback. I'd try again.
    8. a warm bed. A good cigar. A good glass of whiskey. And good music on my mp3, while smoking a good cigar, while sipping on a good glass of whiskey, while enjoying the view of the atlanta skyline from my balcony.
    9. doing everything I can to restore my current life.
    10. Hmm. I think I have to focus more. When I'm on my "A" game, I'm on fire. But being on my A game is so tiring :(

Often the question my friends and I have of corporate CEOs. They make 70 mil a year, have multiple vacation homes, private jets, cars, not to mention MILLIONS in stocks, investments, mutual funds... then they ask for a 10 million bonus.. . WHY?!

So. Say I won 20 mil. I bought a few houses, bought a few for my parents, bought the cars, took the trips, doled out money to my family, and I have about 10 left...

I'd take half of it and put it in secure investments (... the select few that is left), and then put another 5 in starting a few upscale restaurants.

Secure investments? What would that be?
I'd like to set up a trust for my granddaughter.
Teach people of any income level how to save for the future. Or there won't be one...

My current idea of a secure investment is either a trust or just keep money in a safe deposit box.

    ... stocks... nope.
    ... mutual funds... nah.
    ... real estate!. buahhahhh

I'm with you there. I think the answer lies in a mix of greed, the want of power and a misplaced sense on entitlement mixed with a lack of empathy.

See, there's your answer. :) I bet you have a hobby that relates to that.

I currently own a fast food place here in atl.

... oh, and I go out to eat a lot. There's your hobby.

I love to eat, too! Where in atl is your place? I may have to come visit you! :)

Eating seems more of a part time job than a hobby! For me, that is: when I finish eating one meal, I calculate how long till I eat again.
And what's on the menu next!

Still, I think asking these questions once in a while makes me take a little more time looking at things and assessing value.

And, I think some type of real estate is almost always a good investment.
Certainly now, while price have adjusted in my area.

    Neither is specified.
    Neither is eliminated.

It's more about what we perceive as our own success.
    Some need (or want!) both.
I want one of everything and a place to put it! Hehe
