Living in London on a EU passport
I am currently in England, and wondering if I could still live/work in England while I am still in the process of an application of my EU passport?

I was wondering about acquiring a work permit in the UK. I was told that as a US citizen I can't get a work permit to play soccer if I am not an EU citizen. Is this true and is there any way around this? Also, I have Italian grandparents, but my grandmother became a US citizen before my father was born and my grandfathers father became a US citizen before my grandfather was born. All relatives before them remained Italian citizens and I have 50+ relatives living in Italy. Is there anyway to get my Italian citizenship? If not how about if I moved to Italy or married there and how long would I have to remain there?

It is too complicated and take so much time and expenses to obtain Italian citizenship and no guarantee your case will be approved. The easiest and fastest way is have your soccer team sponsored your visa.. you may be qualified for employment-based visa if they agree to sponsor you.

Hi, well the thing is that I am busy with my application for my EU passport, as my dad is from the EU state, so I was wondering if I am able to work and live in the UK, as I have not got my passport as yet/as I am in the process of getting it.

Still not much to tell... is this your first time to obtain EU passport? What's your dad's legal status in UK? How old are you? Are you in UK as his dependent? Did you have a job offer in UK now? Did you have UK work permit before? etc.

Please provide ALL details... remember there are so many issues involved and I don't have crystal ball... :p
