I just commented on a post and lo and behold, I noticed that there is
Approve and Disapprove now.

I like to agree and/or disagree, and I like to concur, but I don't think that I really have a right to approve or disapprove of someone's post. It just does not feel right.

Am I the only one with this feeling?

I would tend to agree... however, I have not heard the reasoning using approve... BUT alas, when the comment is posted, it still says agree!

As far as I recall, it has always said Approve/Disapprove on the form, but Agree/Disagree in the posted comments. So I don't think naything has changed.

Personally, I prefer the approve/disapprove. This goes along more with the guidelines I suggested for use of the feature. The negative comments should only be used when the post is factually incorrect (hence disapproval).

"Was this answer helpful?" Yes, Somewhat, No.

For those of you have heard this "wer're looking at..." answer before, yes, it's slow coming. We want to make a good long term decision...

Of course the comments themselves, generally speaking, are the best indicator of what the "rater" meant to pass along - which is why we just added them being visible to all.

Thanks dear. Guess what, I saw the "suppor this member" now for the first time...

Where have I been?. Well I helped my daughtere through 10 hours of labor, then hurt my back, went to doctor and got more shots, went to hospital daily until Jaime and my new grandson Alex went home. Now I'm packing and getting ready to spend a few weeks with her as she is not allowed to do any housework due to the C-section. So, I'm going to be pretty busy between two homes, two cats, and my baby whose got a baby of her own now.

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'll go along with what you decide now that I got your explanations.
