I was on birth control but I quit taking it about a month ago. Since then Ive gotten my period every other week. Why is that? Is it possible that Im pregnant?

When you first stop taking the birth pill, your system sometimes takes a little while to adjust, this will soon sort itself out, if it doesn't go and see your GP who will advise you what to do.

IT is possible that you could be pregnant, especially if when stopping the pill you've had unprotected sex.

You don't mention which form of birth control you were using. To answer your question properly it would be helpful to know if you were on the pill, depo provera, implants, IUD, etc...
