If my boyfriend that I have lived with for 2+ years will not leave my home that I own, do I have to evict him or just call the local law enforcement to remove him? If he absolutely refuses to leave, you need to file for eviction at your county courthouse. While the home is yours and there is no lease, he has established residency at your property.

You have to give notice and file for eviction.
