20+ Kenmore dryer won't dry - blowing cold air not hot
I have a 20+ Kenmore dryer that I inherited from my mom about 13 years ago. It worked fine up until this week - I've replaced the belt for the drum about a year ago but now it's just blowing cold air. I *think* but am not positive it's an electric only dryer - the model # is: 96282100/62821 but I can't find ANYTHING about it online! I'm hoping that I just need to clear the outside vent (it's been in the same place for 7 years this year and I've never cleared the vent) but I don't know and want to make sure I'm doing it right first. Any assistance with this would be appreciated because due to the economic downturn we just can't afford a new dry or a service call right now. I'm sure I can fix it if I have the right information available.

    Thank you,
    Christine

If it is electric start by checking the elements inside the unit. If it is a gas unit check the sparker down near the gas burner. I have no info on that older model but you might check sears parts online to see if they have any diagrams.
