    How can I show him?
My boyfriend won't believe that I love him even after everything we've been through, and he won't tell me anything without a fight..

Can anyone help me, I want to be able to ask him something without a massive aguement and needing to prove myself.

    Please help

My opinion... you shouldn't be with him. I don't even understand what your definition of a relationship is, because this isn't it.

He clearly has issues with himself, and being together isn't about "proving" anything. Actions should speak for themselves, and if he cannot accept that or be mature enough to communicate without starting a fight, then tough luck for him.

    Carry on...

P.S. More information would be great... i.e. you said the two of you have been through a lot, so he should know you love him... what exactly are you referring o here?

Sounds like you have been showing him, he just doesn't believe it. What's his problem, and why do you have to show someone how you feel all the time? That doesn't sound like fun to me, and it sure ain't love.

When I say what we've been through I mean, issues with his & my family, his fight against self-harming and depression, his cancer and my on-going battle with depression...

This has only started since his birthday a month back.

Sometimes we try push our loved ones to the limits. If you believe you have truly from the bottom of your heart tried then there is nothing more you can do.

Were you always like this? Can you think of a time where you had no problems? If so try imagine yourself back there. Is it both of you that needs to let go of past experiences?
It takes two to argue but only one to at least try make it right.

Talk to him and try sort it. Hte fact he is still there says something. Maybe you can only see it from your own side?
