    Bar sink drain
I am finshing my basement and want to put in a wet bar. However, the only place available to drain the sink where I want to put my bar is the plumbing vent, but I don't think that's possible, is it? Lost for options at this point, my bathroom is not feasible as it is on the other side of the room.

The plumbing vent you are talking about what size is it 3" or 4". Is the "vent part of the line going to the sewer line. How or where is the vent for the bathroom on the other side of the room? And where is that tied into. Get back on that

If you connect your bar sink into a vent - you will create wet vent. I have seen this type of connection hundreds of times before and it worked OK. However, in some parts of country it is against the Code.
