This is Kranthi. I am International student on OPT status. My OPT started in December 2008, Now I am working for a company in New Jersey. My pay is $37500 per year. I want to know how much would be my tax deductions (state, federal). How much do I get refund after filing my taxes. Please let me know.

For your income in 2008, you will get W2 from employer. It will have all the information about taxes withheld in 2008.
