Why do I need my dog to take a brucelosis test?
Do you live on a farm ? As far as I know this is a disease that attacks bovine mammals and can be transmitted to humans. I don't know the connection between this disease and small dogs.Who suggested you have this done ? A vet ?
Are you planning on breeding your dog? That's the title of your thread.
I think we need more info.
What are bovine mammals
Cows.
Because if your dog is male, he'll be sterile and will give the female the disease and ensure she never has healthy puppies and could get pyometra - an infection of the uterus and many, many complications can come from that(I've personally experienced a female with pyometra, even just the act of mating can cause it!) It's like a horrible dog STD.
