    Wiring light fixture
I have two ceiling lights that are operated by one wall switch.

    Wall switch-----------------light 1-----------------light 2

Light two is just fine but the wiring from light two to light 1 is confusing me. It has 4 wires.
Red, white, black, ground wire. The black wire is the hot. How do these connect to the 2 wire light fixture and 2 wires to the switch.

    Thanks

    Ike

Hook to red and white(red may be switched and black constant hot). Or
Hook to Black and white(black may be switched and red a constant hot).
You may be able to switch each light separately if desired.
50 percent chance of hooking up correctly.
I would hook to red and white, if it does not switch off, then black and white.
