How do I transfer the title of a Land, which has been under my name solely, back to my aunt's who is actually the buyer of the land. My aunt didn't want to have her name shown on the title before for some reasons before and those reasons have disappeared. So, it's time to transfer the title back to her. You have to prepare a deed from yourself, as seller, to your aunt, as buyer. You have to sign the deed, have it witnessed and notarized, and then it has to be recorded in the county clerk's office.

I suggest that you have this handled by a real estate attorney or title company. It won't be expensive and you'll know that it was done properly.
