My fiancé and I have a 6 month old together. We live in a house that he bought. He works and I stay at home with the baby. I'm just wondering, can I claim the baby on my taxes and not him. Or can we both claim him or what? How does that work?

Only one parent can claim the child. If you don't work, your fiancé can claim your child and also claim you as a dependent.
That doesn't sound right to me. I don't think he would be entitled to claim her as a dependent on his tax return. They aren't married nor is she related to him.
