Oops I deleted my multimedia audio controller
I have accidentally deleted my multimedia audio controller which means I cannot listen to any sort of sound and a media error occurs. Whenever I try to restore this hardware it says I have to insert a CD-ROM which I don't have.

Is there any way I can restore this without having to download programs such as driver detective which cost $30 or so which I don't have the money to buy this.

    Is there an easy solution?

    Thankssssss:D

Can you tell me what Make/Model of PC you have?

Also, did it not give you a choice to let windows connect and look for drivers?
Many Audio controllers can be re-installed this way.
