The train was quite crowded, a U.S.Marine walked the entire length looking
For a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a poodle belonging to a
    Well dressed, middle-aged, French woman.
The war-weary Marine asked, 'Ma'am, may I have that seat?'
The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular, 'Americans
Are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.'
The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under
That dog. 'Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired.'
She snorted, 'Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!'
This time the Marine didn't say a word. He just picked up the little dog,
Tossed it out the train window, and sat down.
The woman shrieked, 'I'm horrified. Someone must defend my honor and put
    This American in his place!'
An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, 'Sir, you Americans seem to
Have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong
Hand. You drive your autos on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir,
You seem to have thrown the wrong out the window.

Would you say that humour is the same in different countries ?

    Please explain by example.

You can't use curse words on this site. I have noticed it has removed a word near the end that was supposed to be there. I have heard this joke before, and thought it was pretty funny!

If ROLCAM doesn't understand the dual meanings of the term, might mean someone too young to be asking us this...
ROLCAM, how old are you? I see nothing in your profile.

    Captain Rich,

I am probably one of the oldest members here.
I am 78 years of age.
The fact is that I live in Austalia.
Here we call a spade a spade.
I had previous experience with words in different countries, too numerous to list.
You see I lived in Malta, England and for the last 53 years in Australia.

Definitely threw the wrong b.i.t.c.h. out the window. Very good. And I believe humor is the same in most places,
