My teacher didn't go over solving systems with exponents very well. How would I solve a problem like
3x^2-y^2=11
&
x^2+4y^2=8
Try multiplying the entire second equation by -3 and then add the two equations together. You'll notice that you've "eliminated" the 'x' terms.
