    Seeing the dead
Hi, I'm 15 years old. My older brother recently passed away in July of last year. I see him and talk to him all the time. And he talks back. I didn't tell anyone I see him and everything except my sister. She is very supportive and doesn't know I'm doing this on this website. I was just wondering if it was normal to see my brother and speak to him and touch him.. or am I just going crazy..

I'm not going to judge you and say you are crazy because I've never been through a similar situation, losing a sibling or anyone that close. But I have been through other traumatic situations and I imagine losing your brother must have been very difficult. Sometimes major events like that can make our minds do "crazy" things. It might help you to see a grief counselor and be able to talk about this.

Im no expert, but yeah, that's not normal. Crazy isn't the term. Stress can really mess you up, even cause physical symptoms. If your 15 your school should have a counsiler. Talk to them, its free and could really help.

While I personally do not believe in this sort of thing I think that if this is what helps you cope with your lose then don't worry about it being normal or not. Just be careful not to let it effect you mentally or physically.

Uhh... it kind of sounds like it is already effecting her mentally and physically. She's talking to and touching someone who is dead-who is not supposed to be there for her to talk to and touch.

Anything is possible. I've had a similar experience. Not with seeing someone or touching them but communicating with them. Some people call others crazy or foolish but they can't speak on what u see and feel. Best of luck to you.

Yes, its normal. I have seen my dead uncle before and so did my dad. I wasn't really close to my uncle because I was just born when he died, but yes it is normal for you. If you see him it means that you made a special footprint in his heart which means he will never ever forget you. It is like that poem about leaving footprints in the sand, well it is like that.

Yes I have been through it. I lost soemone really close to me and there for awhile I was able to talk to her and touch her and she'd talk back. It helped me cope with her being gone. She is like my protector. I seen her when I was hit by the car and survived. Now though I can't see her or talk to her I can just feel her watching over me. So yes it is normal

After the loss of a love one, we all deal with the pain and loss. So often we find ways to cope. This is not unusual for people who are suffering

I don't think you're crazy. Just because other people can't see things doesn't mean they don't exist.http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...r187/ghost.jpg this was a picture I took of my 13 year old female cousin with a cell phone. We only noticed later the guys face that showed up in it.. so do I believe in ghosts.. oh yeah

You are in no way crazy you obviouslly loved your brother and maybe this is his way of letting you know that he is okay and your way of knowing that he will always be with you.
