    Will they still get judgement
I am being sued in civil court for a credit card. I have entered an agreement for payment with them and set up a payment plan. The court date is still set for Feb. I was wondering if they will still get a judgement against me? I am still going to the court hearing.

Is your payment agreement in writing? It should provide for some kind of resolution of the civil suit.

They may still want to get the judgement in case you renenge on the agreement. If you didn't want them to continue the suit you should have had that written into the agreement.

Yes they sent me a letter "to confirm our agreement to accept installment payments". I know to take the letter should I also take a copy of my bank statement showing they already got a payment?

    That's a great idea!

That probably won't stop the judgement. All it might do is prevent them from using the judgement as long as you keep up the payments.

Then what is the point of going to court?

To show that you aren't rolling over and playing dead. You NEVER want a default judgement entered against you. You also never want to not show up in court.
