    Being Evicted in Florid
We live in a South Florida apartment complex. We received a three day eviction notice today, even though our lease expired last month and we never signed another lease. How long do we have before they come and change the locks, and can they legally remove our things from this apartment when we are not here?

I believe if you are not out in three days, they have to take you to court... and geta judgement before they can evict you,

    Hello l:

There's quite a bit of legal procedures to go through after a 3 day notice. Depending on how efficient your landlord is, and how efficient your courts are, you probably have a month.

No, as long as you are IN the apartment, they cannot change the locks, turn off the utilities, or enter your apartment WITHOUT notice...

If they DO do that, let me know.
