    Ask to know
    Latitude, land/water
Differences, ocean currents, and elevation all contribute
To variations in temperature at any given location across
The globe. Some scientists believe that the Earth’s axis of
Tilt actually wobbles and slightly changes over time, which
Leads to changes in the climate. What effect on the seasons
And climate in general do you think would occur in the
United States if the Earth’s axis of tilt lessened by 10
Degrees (that is... it only tipped at 13½ degrees)? What
Changes do you think would occur if it tipped 10 degrees
More (that is…at 33½ degrees)? Be specific to the location
    In which you live. :-/

If the Earth's tilt was 13 1/2 degrees, we would have much milder winters and hotter summers. Kentucky, where I now reside would have weather more like states farther south. Michigan, where I was born, would have weather much like Kentucky currently has. If the tilt was 33 1/2 degrees, Michigan would have more Arctic type weather, and Kentucky would have weather more like Michigan has currently.
